Perhaps you didn't read it though, and mabye I'm on your ignore list. Someone wanna quote me? ;)

Here ya go. :)

I know I'm not on your list, but I thought I'd say hi anyway.

:)
:wave2: Hi, Janice!

Thank you! Hope things are going well with you in my old stomping grounds.

As a paranoid newbie, could I ask all of you DIS-veterans to list the number of posts that the offender had (approximately) when you ignored them.....

For me:
It's not the number of posts, it's the incessant whining about how bad their life is, yet they make no attempt to make it better. It's the constant slamming of where a person lives after they decided that it was the best place in the world to move. It's the "It's all about me" mentality, never offering sympathy or advise, just turning every thread they post on into something about them. It's the posting on just about every thread with nothing to add. It's the far right and far left politicos who very rarely have any facts to back up their views.

I do have people on ignore. Do I come and announce it everytime I do it? No, that is very passive agressive in my opinion. I am sure there are a few people ignoring me. I am glad that the Dis has the option, so if someone bugs you, you don't have to deal with them.

Sandy, am I on your list? :teeth:

Was it the milk bandit thread that pushed you over the edge with me?

I've never used my ignore button but I HAVE been tempted at times!:teeth:

I have chosen NOT to use the ignore feature because the irritating people amuse me! Besides, its more fun to just ignore them for real!

Yup yup yup... the posts of those who like to debate and instigate can be rather amusing, however, there are those days when I am already irritated about something or other and those sorts of things just pluck a nerve  , but for the most part... I find them rather amusing :p

I think know who you mean. I wanted an update of the milk thief as well.
Who dares start a thread to find out an update???
Not me! Not brave enough:D

Lol. No updates to report anyway.

But, fear not - for when (and I do mean when because I think the milk bandit will strike again!) the fiend strikes again, I'll post an update thread. :teeth:

Thank goodness! My DH will be so pleased I will not stay up half the night laughing at the computer.

LOL! Never! :)

No, it's not a guess who it is thread. Geez...if I posted a thread like this EVERY time I put someone on ignore, you would see a LOT more threads! Lately, there's always someone jumping in almost every thread that either has to disagree for the sake of it or blows it out of proportion. I'm sure I'm not the only one tired of seeing it.
