VENT -amount of time to hear back ??? UPDATED !! ( very good )

HI everyone, I am just venting a bit. I sent my first note on Jan 9th to Disney having got NO response ( other then the generic "we got your message " thing ) i sent note 2 on Jan 16 still no response so today i sent note 3 .. do you think i am being hasty isn't a week long enough for them to address me !! and i am sorry to say note 3 was a bit rough !! 2-07-03 HI All, just thought i would let you all know that i finally got a response from Disney Guest Services.. Jennier was very nice and was quite apolegetic ( i did send a 4th note on 2/03/03 Jennifer got that one on Wed 2/05 ) I was offered 1 day park hoppers which i took as they will never expire and we can use those on our trip in 2004.

what were you inquiring to disney about? i think with such a big company like disney they get many e-mails they need to answer. still i think a week with 3 e-mails from you should have been enough time to respond. give it a few more days. if you don't hear a response, either e-mail them again with 4th e-mail in the subject line or call their customer service number that should be provided.
 
It was about the Dec 5th MVMCP . I realize they can't control the weather however i inquired about spending another $90.00 on tickets to the Dec 6th show and the holiday desk at AKL told me no sorry its sold out even after i stated that we were there to see the show and parades but they had gotten canceled due to the rain. but later in the day found that people had in deed gotten tickets ( and for free ) to that nights show ( i didn't complain at that time cause i figured that was that and had already booked my kids in Simba's clubhouse which is non-refundable ) and they when i had gotten home a got an e-mail from a freind here stating that the were first offered free tickets to the 6th , but they were going home , then offered park tickets but they have annual passed so they got a full refund. So i was complaining that i was offered nothing even after inquireing nicely. I guess i should have risen the roof but i am not that kind of person ( altho when they read e-mail number 3 they might think that i am ! ) Oh Well I will hope someone gets one of them sooner or later and i either get a call or e-mail follow up

I don't know about time to hear back but I would definitely say you deserve at least a refund.
 

I emailed about a problem I had and after 1 week with no response, I emailed again. I got a response the next day saying someone in the proper department would be contacting me "soon". That was a week ago. I've been through this once before and I'm not expecting a call for several weeks. So, no, I don't think you're being unreasonable to have expected a response by now.

We were there on Dec. 5th.
We were told to mail our bracelets in and would be credited on the card we used.
Got a call several weeks after that saying it had been received and we would get another call (they had a lot of mail).
Several weeks later we did get another call saying our credit card was credited and it would show in 1-2 billing cylces.

We were also told that night that Dec. 6th was sold out.
We bought tickets for Dec. 10th and had a great time!

I don't have our bracelets but i do have our tickets. ( well i think i have one bracelet. ) Thanks for the info. i guess i will just continue to wait. michelle
 
Nope...no yellow poncho.....we opted for the clear cheapy ones.
You could also send your tickets in (we wanted to keep ours. The nice plastic preordered ones. The ones we bought there were paper).
Did you get the public relations card they were handing out?
That had the address to send them to.
 
OH Great Scott. they were handing out cards.. Nope missed those.. I had some of the nice cheapie ones but left them in the hotel room at the aKL didn't do us much good so we shelled out good money for the Yellow Mickey's !!! Michelle
 
I'll see if I can find one of the cards and PM you the address, if you like.
Another option to get the refund going.
