Where did you buy your veil? I can't justify spending hundreds of dollars on this, but would like a pretty one. There are so many places to buy them online, I was hoping someone could point me to a place you used and were happy with.

Also if anyone has any suggestions on what type of veil looks best with this gown I wuld appreciate it! I am leaning towards an elbow length two tier with crystal edging:

I was shocked when I saw some of the prices for veils, and it seemed that every one I liked (with crystals and more detail) were in the hundreds of dollars. Some cost more than my dress! I refused to pay that much for a few pieces of tulle with some crystals stuck on and for a while gave up the search.

It was then suggested to me to try amazon and ebay. I was surprised when I found a simple 2 tier fingertip veil with ribbon finished edges on ebay that I thought would work well with my dress. Here is a picture:

Here's a closer look at the edging:

The best bit -- it cost LESS than my Bridal Ear Headband! You could always opt for something similar and 'bling' it up if you wanted for a fraction of the price.

I just got mine on ebay too. The one I wanted from David's was $79. I got a very very similar one on ebay for $3, and that includes shipping.

Just wanted to say, it looks like from the picture on David's Bridal website that you dress is off white. If this is so, look for an off white veil. I definately think you should try ebay also.

This is where I bought my veil.

It's an Etsy shop and I was very pleased. Fast shipping and my veil looked just as nice as any I had seen at the stores. I was feeling exactly the same as everybody else. I didn't want to spend all of that money on something I could find for so much less.

This probably isn't very useful now, but I got my veil at Priscilla of Boston when they were going out of business. It was originally $280 and I paid $65. I think all the stores are closed now. Before I found it I was looking on etsy.

I love your dress!

I got my veil at Michael's! LOL we were there getting some doo dad for the invitations, and I noticed they had the exact style of veil I wanted for $20, and I was about to pay $180! I snapped it up and couldn't have been happier.

If you want crystals or other embellishments, you could maybe do it yourself, too. I think it would be neat to be able to say you made a piece of your wedding outfit. I bet there are a lot of ideas and tutorials on Pinterest.
