Veils?

I am still undecided on a veil. I haven't quite choosen a dress but am leaning heavily toward one.....
I know that I don't want a blusher, like hmgolden said I'd just be swatting at it down the isle. I can't stand things on my face!

It all depends on how you picture your wedding. If you don't want a veil than ya don't need one!

I figure that I don't have to follow "traditions" since I am already breaking the big one and not getting married in Catholic Church (big thing for my family). They really don't know what to expcet with a Disney wedding so I can make it up as I go!!! I find that factor extreamly nice and stress free!

Good luck with all of your plans!

I am worried about that big thing over here, too. My parents are strict Catholic. I have my own beliefs and I'm not sure how that's going to work out over here. I want a Disney Wedding, so . . .

About the veil- I think you should do whatever you like- I think *something* in your hair looks nice, but that could be a wreath, a tiara, even one simple flower behind your ear like in Hawaii, not necessarily a veil. Traditional bridal wear has been expanding its horizons lately- it's pretty acceptable to forego a veil or even wearing all white. ( The second I saw Sam had a *pink* wedding gown (my favorite color) I became committed to wearing one on my wedding!) Wear whatever makes you feel beautiful, bridal and happy!

I would like the veil, personally, but as others have said, you could go in not wanting one, and fall in love with one, or go in wanting one, but deciding against it when you see the entire ensemble. Just go with what feels right to you. :goodvibes
