Veil or Tiara-pros and cons??

I have to say that when I tried on my dress I didn't have a veil on, just the tiara. Then the girl brought me a veil to go with the gown and it just completed the whole look. A veil really brings the whole dress together. There are girls that don't wear veils....Lurky didn't...and she looked stunning. I think it depends on the dress that you have.

I took a peek on Ebay and came across another idea. Do people mix this with a veil or is it too much?

I would love something like this with a little color to add to the whole look.

I think a flower head piece is a little more "me" than a tiara.....hmmm...I wonder how much $$ a fresh flower one would be? Probably waaay over my budget!! Oh well, the silk flower ones will be just as pretty.

I'm lucky, though, as my bridal store is including a free tiara with my dress purchase, and my SIL is lending me her veil as my 'something borrowed'

I am probably the last person to offer advice on whether or not to wear a veil 'cause although DH calls me his princess...I'm not nor have I ever been "princessy"

However, I did have a floral "halo" for my wedding. My ceremony was very casual and I had very colorful flowers in my bouquet. I made the headpiece myself and was very glad to see how well they matched the day of my wedding. I did ask Disney about making one with fresh flowers for me and they said $150. That was three years ago.

Personally I love the floral headpieces you have here! They are very beautiful!

Ok I used both! The veil was not over my face. In fact, i wore my mom's veil.

i wore a flower type tiara with a veil as well. The veil did not cover my face either.
