I was just wondering how many Disney Brides skipped out on wearing a veil in their wedding and just wore the Tiara?

I wore neither a veil nor a tiara. I made a wreath of silk flowers for my hair.

We got married at the Disney Wedding Pavilion, yes I had a veil but I did not put the veil over my face as I walked down the isle.

i'm wearing my veil under my up-do! :) (I took *terrible* with the veil on top of my head)

I wore the veil down the isle only....and then just the tiara to the reception...didn’t have it for pictures either....so guess a little of both

I am doing a long mantilla veil that will be pulled over my face (The man had a special request that he get to "Floof" the veil and take it off my face. DORK!)
Im doing the long veil because i dont have a train, my veil looks similar to this.

Error_kitten, that's a beautiful lace veil!

I'm not going with a veil. I'm going with a headband...

I skipped out on the veil and just wore a headband piece with small crystals! princess: I felt a veil was way too much for me and never wanted to do all of that. I'm not "girlie" and I don't like all the wedding stuff...haha! I know most will disagree! :goodvibes I wanted it simple and fun!

You can see my hair and headband better in this pic! :artist:

I went for a thin tiara and then had the veil underneath my updo (as you can see in my signature). I didn't want to be too formal, but my dress was pretty simple, so this dressed it up more.

I am going to have a veil and a tiara (no blusher)...probably similiar to tinkerbelle14's. princess:

No veil, I looked ridiculous in every one I tried on! Instead, I wore a Swarovski crystal headband/tiara with my hair as "poofed up" as my hairdresser could get it ;)
You can see it pretty well in this picture

I really loved how the look all came together.

When I first tried on my dress I was very adament about having only a tiara and skipping the veil part.. But then my assistant felt that I had not cried nearly enough during the experience so she showed up with 3 different veils (each a different length) and I ended up falling in love with a combination of the tiara and the veil. My mother wanted the veil for sentimental reasons and when I later told Chris I was considering being walking down without a veil he admitted that he would have been very surprised and also a bit disappointed.. I have not purchased the veil or the tiara as I am waiting till the day is a bit closer, I just wanted to add my 2 cents that sometimes both look very nice :)

i wore a veil & loved it. it made the bride image complete & looked so nice in photos.

I'm going woth a floor length veil down the back not over my face at all.
Kind of like this, but a little shorter:

I am having my hair in an up do and a very small tiara with a cathedral length veil and a blusher for over my face....

I don't think a regular veil looks good on me. I look like I've just wrestled with a giant tulle monster, and lost. A bit reminisant of walking out of the bathroom with something stuck to your shoe... or rather my head. It's like those cardboard graduation caps... they never looked good on me either. That's why I really searched for something different. However, on so many other people the veil looks great. I think it might be head and hair shape that effects how it looks. My head is big, so veils look more like mosquito netting than anything else. :)

Moonpie...I love the fact that people on these boards can have a sense of humour about themselves. I love what you said. For our 2008 VR I am doing a tiara (Because I AM a princess) but no veil. I wore my MIL's veil for our first wedding, and well, let's just say, I'm done with that! It looked attrocious but I did it. This time it's all me.

i really don't want a veil i just want a Tiara. my mother is trying to talk me into having one, but if i have my way(which i most likely will) i will have no veil.
