Veggies...where can we get a good meal?

Just wondering if any veggies out there can tell me the best place to get a decent (but reasonably priced) meal? I've been reading the restaurant reviews and there's plenty of info about steaks and burgers...but not much about vegetarian meals, and those that have something said about veggie options haven't sounded too promising!
It will be evening meals, as we have managed to get GMF Breakfasts for almost every day, and will be taking croissants/brioches etc ourselves to cater for lunch (trying to keep costs down), but I want a proper decent evening meal every day.
On the Tuesday we have booked Buffalo Bills (any ideas what the veggie option is for this??!!) and on the Thursday we have booked Cafe Mickey (although having read a few reviews I may change this, any thoughts?). I do fancy giving Annette's Diner a try as the reviews on there look fab, but again, I am worried that my options won't be too good. I suppose I can always rely on chips (and then wonder why I'm 'cuddly'!)
Any help appreciated!

Thanks Reid...It is interesting to read but didn't give me much of an idea....I have to say, I am not a veggie in the way of 'meat is murder' scenario, I have never liked meat, even as a baby I would spit it out, it is a texture thing i think, so I don't worry about if it has been cooked in Beef fat, or if the cheese is made with 'by products', I just don't eat Burgers, steak, sausages, mince etc.
Does this make sense?

Sorry that wasn't of more help. Hopefully others with direct experience will be able to give you some ideas of nice vegetarian options :)

I'm not vegetarian - I eat fish and poultry, but sometimes I do feel like having vegetarian days and I've found the buffets in Plaza Gardens and expecially Inventions to be very good for that.

This thread has lots of useful info and discussion :)

Thanks for posting this link. DH and I will be at DLP from July 16th - 23rd and I was a bit concerned about dining options. I'm a strict vegetarian (no fish or fowl, no animal/fish-based stocks, no slaughter by products, etc.) and the choices were fairly limited when we visited a few years ago.

The worst was when we ventured into Paris. We ended up eating in Italian restaurants those days because we weren't able to find any other places that offered an appropriate option for me. DH isn't vegetarian and will eat just about anything, so he's quite easygoing. However, many places weren't too happy about the prospect of us tying up a table if I wasn't ordering an entree and usually turned us away.

We are perfectly happy grabbing sandwiches or going to buffets, so we'll definitely check out some of the establishments mentioned in this thread. Any other ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

My DD is a vegetarian and I wondered how she would get on during our recent Easter visit. She actually got on fine, but then does eat fish, so could always rely on a cheese or tuna baguette. Pizza was another option, though I guess if you were really strict you might start questioning the cheese, thankfully I persuaded her to do the best she could to stick to her beliefs, and not question things to that extent.

One thing was for sure, DD discovered the veggie burgers in Annette's were to die for! Not veggie as in sawdust stuff, but tiny little bits of chopped up veg made into a patty, if that makes sense? She also enjoyed the vegetarian option in the Cinderella Restaurant.

Excellent to know about Anetttes, it's somewhere i really fancy after seeing the reviews and pics of the food. Thanks for all of your helpful comments. I am sure I'll get by just fine. Our son is seeming to be like me in the no meat 'stakes' (pardon the pun!) but will eat chicken if the mood suits him, wheras hubby is the original carnivore, so I reckon somehow we'll find some place where there's something for everyone.

resident DLRP board veggie checking in live from Paris. 'kathleena' and I have spent the last two days at the parks, including over 11 hours today. I can assure that after coming here following a month in the countryside of India, I was looking for some good 'home' food in Europe.

Once again DLRP did not disappoint - in fact the choices are even better than in the thread Cyrano referenced.

We ate dinner at the Blue Bayou tonight - menu has changed since last winter, and we had a wonderful meal. I had a set menu with veggie appetizer and entree, and dessert. Found lots of choice on counter serve as well, more even than last year in November and December.

Believe me, I am proof that a veggie will not starve here!

I also like the choices at King Ludwigs, although we did not make it over there this time - we ate very very well today! ;) Tomorrow kathleena leaves for home and I go into Paris, and am looking forward to some of my favourites which I listed on that other thread....
