Does anyone know if/where they sell veggie burgers, either in the parks or the village, lunch or dinner, take away or eat in? Thanks in advance! Dee

Hi Dee,

Don't know the answer to your question, but one place you could look is www.dlpfoodguide.org.

From looking ast DLP Food Guide myself, it seems one place that could be of interest to you is Annette's in the village (See -> http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/menus/annettes_menu.html)

Annette's is listed as having:

"The Green Piece - Veggie pattie on a bun with mayonnaise, tomato, lettuce, mozzarella, aubergine, courgette and mushrooms. Served with coleslaw. vegetarian"

Hope this helps

Regards

Iain

I am pretty sure that Cafe Mickey also had one on the menu.

I'd forgotten about this. Brother's girlfriend had this during our last visit :)

Can't see anything listed on the Cafe Mickey menu, however the Rain Forest Cafe (again in the Village) includes:

"Tuki's Veggie Burger - Vegetarian soy burger with melted mozzarella cheese, avocado, red onions, tomato, Iceberg lettuce and Rescue sauce. Served with coleslaw. vegetarian"

thanks for the info:thumbsup2
I'm a REALLY awkward eater, so this looks like the 'just about everything Dee hates' burger:lmao: (I don't like mayo, tomato, aubergine, courgette, mushroom or coleslaw!!!!). I'll be having the 'plain' version then.

I bet you're all queing up to have to eat out with me;)

Dee, I'm having the same thing! I don't eat meat but also don't like things like Avocado, Aubergine etc. I am sure I won't starve, and besides, I have plenty of 'stored energy' (others call it fat, I prefer stored energy lol!) to survive one week!
Having lived in Germany for 3 years now, where the concept of not eating meat is still rather odd, I have learnt to adapt and improvise, so I'm sure it'll all be ok!
The one thing I do worry about is that I know NO French at all, never had to learn it at school, we did German (must have known I'd end up living here!) so whilst I can do my best in a restaurant here, I'm concerned I'll hash up my orders by trying to talk French, which will undoubtably be a mix of German, English and pointing:rotfl:
