Hello,

Going down for the first time in almost 10 years and wonder about vegetarian selections at the various restaurants, and specifically at Ohana. I worry that my wife who is vegetarian, will find enough or anything worth getting.

I know I can find something...;-)

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hey Michael - there is a vegetarian thread going on somewhere in here.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=389489

try that link - should help out a lot.

BTW, you are supposed to be able to call OHana ahead of time and talk to the chef, who will arrange for a vegetarian meal for you. My wife was still eating fish at the time, so her's would have included fish of some sort. Now she's eating vegan so I don't know what the meal would look like.

Disney Dining can give you the phone number for the restaurant so you can call them directly. 407-WDW-DINE is their number.

Have a great trip - be sure to post the veggie meal your wife ate when you get back.

Here is a link to the WDWIG menu page... it's pretty comprehensive and frequently updated. http://www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm

Calling ahead for sit-down restaurants is always a good idea. There may not be a vegetarian item on the menu, but they can usually whip something up for your wife.

It's so sweet of you to be looking out for her! :)
