Vegetarian Q - Les Chefs de France

I was wondering if anyone knew if the following are vegetarian @ Les Chefs:

Ratatouille
Soupe a l'oignon gratinee (onion soup)

I would bet that the ratatouille is vegetarian, but almost assuredly the onion soup is not. It's typically made with beef stock.

The soup is definitely not vegetarian. It is made with a combination of chicken and beef stock.

We dined there on Friday and I asked about the French Onion soup, and was told it was veal stock. I guess Ratatouille isn't on the lunch menu, because I didn't see it. It's usually vegetarian, though of course verify!
The cheese plate was awesome, if you do dairy.

Just stopped in to plug Les Chef's veggie lasagna... it veers a little close to being a one-note dish, but overall it's worth having.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping it will be vegetarian, seeing as it's typically a vegetarian-friendly dish. I've learned to ask though, learning the hard way after some veggie lo mein.
