I'm sure this has been asked before so I apologize for asking again if it has, but what are some good vegetarian options at the parks and hotels? I looked through all the menus but was just wondering what people's favorites were. Thanks!

Fried green tomato sandwich at Hungry Bear.

Huevos rancheros made in front of my eyes at the Surf's Up character breakfast.

(obviously we're ovo-lacto, which is generally really easy to deal with at Disney)

The space in DCA called something like Paradise Grill...either that spot or the place right next to it...they make pastas. They will modify it for you, and I had something tomato-y with a cream over pasta that normally has chicken in it. Since they make it right there, they just didn't add the chicken, and it's lovely. Oh, Boardwalk Pizza/Pasta? It's been way too long since we were there, obviously! Can't remember the names of places.

I love a monte cristo sandwich without the ham at BB. Yummm.

First, if you do this, tell them you're a vegetarian because the sandwich also has turkey, and saying "no ham" will not yield a vegetarian sandwich. Second, in the past Blue Bayou has told guests that the sandwiches are pre-made, and that they can only pull the unwanted ingredient off of a sandwich that was prepped earlier. That's probably going to be an issue for a vegetarian. Cafe Orleans does have a cheese monte cristo, but it's not available at BB.

Yes, but ask for it with no sauce because the sauce contains anchovies. Yummy sandwich though!

According to the Parks blog they've removed the anchovies. Check the comments on these posts for confirmation:

(Taste Pilot's no longer serves breakfast, so no vegetarian breakfast burrito as mentioned)

(Storyteller's no longer serves the a la carte item mentioned, the Carthay item is no longer on the menu and Edelweiss hasn't had the corn the last 2 times I tried it. Also, the corn chowder might contain chicken stock, definitely check on that one before ordering.)

Mods, would it be possible to have all of the recent vegetarian threads merged so that all of the info is in one place? There's this one, the one I linked above and this one too: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3282751
