What is your favorite vegetarian meals in the parks, especially without the light house sandwich available?

Are you looking for something in MK?
If you eat cheese, I really like the Vegetarian Flat Bread Pizza at Pinocchio's Haus.

Thanks!

I was thinking about about magic kingdom but am interested in good vegetarian options ad the other parks as well. Some of the posts I've found seem to recommend things that aren't available anymore.

I will be trying the New Pandora CS in AK, from what I've read it is getting great reviews and has a Vegetarian entree. I was Vegan for 5 years and went to Disney and I could only eat so many Veggie burgers (Boca) I haven't eaten one of those since. Also in Epcot there is Sunshine Seasons and it has a Vegetarian Entree. I'm hesitant to eat at the Mexican CS because most Refried beans are made with Lard, people who aren't Vegetarians think that since it doesn't have chunks of meat in them they are vegetarian beans. I have read that you can ask for a Vegetarian Menu at the TS San Angel Inn, it is very limited choices, it might only have one Vegan choice.

I like the quiche and both soups at BOG for lunch.

Mama Melrose has some options and you can leave the meat out of some of the dishes that are not listed as vegetarian.

Pizzafari has a good vegetarian flatbread (if you eat cheese, that is), but if Tusker House is anything like Boma, I would go for that. We're trying it on our next trip.

I used to love the vegetarian platter at Tangierine cafe, but I have read that they have made some changes to it since I last had it so now I don't know if I would like it as much. The QS place in Mexico accommodates vegetarians by leaving meat off items and replacing it with beans or increasing the amount of beans if already included. Chefs de France has a fabulous gratin de macaroni. Les Halles in France has some good sandwich and quiche options.

The Tofu bowl from Satu'li Canteen in AK is delicious! I also agree about the pizza and flatbreads at Pizzafari and Pinocchio's Haus. The power salad (without the chicken) at Sunshine Seasons is pretty good -- they have other options too.

When we went in January we had black beans at La Cantina de San Angel. I'm not sure if they usually serve refried there or not, but you could ask if they have black beans.

I'm vegetarian and I love lunch at the quick service in Mexico. I also love Sci-Fi in HS, they have the best onion rings. I've had great meals at Teppan Edo, the morocco quick service and Via Napoli too.

so the black beans at the Mexico QS are Vegetarian (no lard or meat base cooked)?

TS: Rose and Crown at Epcot has a Vegetarian Cottage Pie.
Almost every TS has a Vegetarian Choice or plates can be adapted to be vegetarian.

I found this site, it's a good guide to Vegetarian Eating at WDW:

Sunshine Seasons HAS THE BEST OPTIONS!!!!!!! I had a fantastic Mediterranean platter. <3

I'm not even a vegetarian and the Layered Ratatouille at Be Our Guest is one of my favorite meals on Disney property! Layers and layers of eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions all atop quinoa in this red pepper sauce. My mouth is already drooling just thinking about it:rotfl:

Everything from Satu'li Canteen is delicious. I've yet to have a bad bowl combo there. I honestly can't decide what my favorite combo is.

How spicy is the tofu bowl at Satu'li canteen?
Any favorite sauce?

Do you think for breakfast Satu'li canteen could do oatmeal without almonds?

How is the fried tomato sandwich at the plaza restaurant?

Thank you for all the suggestions! I was anxious about the food but now I'm getting excited!

I don't remember the tofu bowl being spicy at all. I really liked the Charred Onion Chimicurri. The Creamy Herb dressing was good, but is more of a mayo base. I didn't try the black bean vinaigrette. You can ask to get them on the side.

My mom had the fried tomato sandwich a few weeks ago and said it was really good and loved the white BBQ sauce that comes on it.
