Vegetarian Kid

Hey! I was wondering if anyone had had any luck getting a vegetarian kids meal at either Kouzzinna or CRT for dinner? I tried calling ahead but since it's a "lifestyle choice," I was told just to ask at the podium. I can do that, I just don't want to find out they can't fix him anything.

Hmm, I haven't been to either of those, but it's strange that they would not note it for you. Did you call the restaurants directly (as in not just asking when you made the ADR?). I'm sure you will be just fine asking at the podium, but you may want to try calling again on the phone and see if you get someone more accommodating. I always have them note it any place that I think may have limited options, and sometimes the chef will even come out to discuss what you'd like as an alternative. Again, if they won't do it for you, I really wouldn't worry, as I'm sure both places have many ingredients on hand to make something delicious! Have fun!

My family is vegetarian and we ate dinner at CRT last fall. While I don't remember what we ate, I know we all ate, so there must have been something on the menu for the kids.

I don't ever give advance notice for vegetarian food at Disney because they always have something or will come up with something for us.

We have the same issues here. At CRT for lunch last year I asked for my older daughter to have the plain buttered noodles that they give to my younger DD too. They added veggies and fruit and still gave them the dessert sundae and they were very happy! I LOVED the veggie pasta dish by the way! YUM!
Haven't tried Kouzzina yet, but I haven't been inspired to. I check the kids' menus before I check the adult ones to see if there are options for my kids and make my choices that way usually. Kouzzina's kids' menu is worse then most, which is funny to me seeing as Kat Kora is a mom and this is supposed to be a "family" restaurant. I chose Flying Fish as a family meal because, while expensive, it has an excellent kids' menu and is one of the few places to offer a grilled cheese, something my girls love. The Plaza restaurant too.
