Has anyone who is vegetarian been to Ohana lately? I remember reading awhile ago (a year and a half maybe) that the chef there (can't remember his name) would make an incredible vegetarian dinner if given advance notice. Just wondering if he was still there and if anyone had eaten his vegetarian dinner lately. Thanks!

About six months ago my cousin told me that the chef prepared her the best vegetarian meal of the trip. Don't know who the chef was but it was tasty.

Dined there with my vegan BFF last month. She decided to not complicate things and just eat vegetarian that night. They prepared her a wonderful dish of roasted veggies, tofu, rice, and more. The presentation was amazing and we only made the vegetarian request when we checked in.

Chef TJ is the chef you were thinking of. He is incredible but he is no longer at the Ohana. He's at the GF Cafe I believe. I'm not sure how the veggie meals are since he left. I'm sure that they will provide something but it may not be as "fancy" as what it used to be. He was AMAZING.

Chef TJ - yes, that is the one! GF Cafe - Grand Floridian? He is the one I heard rave reviews about.

Glad to hear I can still get a vegetarian meal at Ohana even though he is no longer there.

I saw pictures of the vegetarian meal created by TJ's replacement and they still looked pretty darn tasty. I eat meat, but I would consider ordering vegetarian at 'Ohana.

Thanks everyone! We had ADR's for our last trip and I was so looking forward to our Chef TJ vegetarian creation and the 'Ohana experience, but our youngest son got sick and we had to cancel. I'm interested in making ADR's for our next trip, for our arrival night, but wanted to be sure it was still a good meal. It sounds like it is!
