Has anyone ever had a vegetarian entree here? Nothing is listed on their menu and wondered how agreeable they are to "special diets" ? It doesn't have to be vegan, but no fish, poultry or meat.
Thanks in advance.

Disney TS restaurants are great about it. I'm a vegetarian and have never gone hungry. :)

If there's nothing on the menu, try calling the restaurant ahead of time. They'll discuss any special diets and will work out something acceptable. Just make sure you are calling ahead of time and not at the last minute, to give them time to get any necessary ingredients that aren't right on hand.

Enjoy!

Gator Kate, did you end up eating @ Bistro? If so what did they serve you? I'm very excited about our first time dining @ Bistro, but am a strick vegetarian (at least beyond that, I"m not too picky, will eat pretty much anything they serve me as long as there's no meat/seafood/chicken/etc)
I'm very excited about dining here, but somewhat nervous. I emailed the disney special diets email address, told them our dining times, reservation # etc, and explained that I'd be looking to get a veg app & entree. I didn't hear back or anything. I hate making phone calls, but should I call the resturant to be on the safe side???

We didn't eat there but my advice is to just show up and if there's nothing that suits you on the menu the waitperson usually offers to let you speak with the chef. They're very accommodating to vegetarians and it makes you feel quite special when the chef comes to the table just for you. Enjoy!

I was at Bistro many years back when a woman at the table next to us wanted to order a vegetarian entree. I don't recall exactly what she ended up getting, but I do know that the restaurant was able to accomodate her without any trouble.
