Vegas to Aulani?

We're flying from Vegas to Aulani in May. What is a good price for air?

Best price will probably be United with a connection at LAX. I'd pay the extra to fly Hawaiian Airlines direct. Or drive to LAX and fly direct from there.

Flights out of Vegas get delayed all the time. I’d either fly or drive down to LA the night before, and take an early flight. You’ll get to Honolulu around 10 AM and have the whole day.

The prices have been fluctuating wildly. In July when Hawaii started allowing fully vaccinated people to travel without testing, the prices were $500-$600 for economy. After the governor asked people to stop traveling to Hawaii I saw them fall to $200-$300.

Pre-covid, $500-$650 was normal for a non-stop flight on Hawaiian. $400 on Southwest. HNL-LAS is one of the most popular and underserved routes - they call Vegas the 9th island for a reason!
