So strange, i've been looking @ tons of hotels on the strip & found few that offer in-room safes
. Can't recall any hotel, even the economical chain ones that don't offer them back east.
Some of the properties had them in the newer/deluxe rooms only; seemed as though the majority of the older ones don't offer them (other than a hotel safe, which i'm not going to traipse down to when i need something).
I finally got tired of checking/calling & booked the Excalibur - of which only their new wide screen tv rooms are so equipped.
Q for the Vegas vets - can you think of any "moderate-priced" strip hotels that do offer safes?

we did want to do the extra tour (if still offered due to security issues). TA told me we must be there very early in the am or the lines get very long waiting to tour depending on how many bus tours beat us there.
