Normally I don't worry much about vegetarian or vegan meal options at WDW, since I know where to go. However, this trip we're headed to Biergarten and WCC for my DH and kiddos (big meat eaters!).

Anyone have any recent experiences with vegan options at either location? I'm going to call in advance and add the note to my ADR's - but I'd like to get an idea of what might be on my plate. If it's going to be light fare, I can modify our lunch plans to suit my protein or iron needs for the day :goodvibes

The menu at allears.net for the beirgarten suggest you shouldn't have a problem.

The pickings at WCC may be a little thinner though, although there are salads, and vegetable sides with the skillet.

Sadly, from many trips to WDW - I know the menus on AllEars and WDW Dining Reservations are just examples. Having done Biergarten on a previous trip, the chef on shift warned me away from most salads (meat fats/drippings). It was slim pickings, at least for me.

This is why I'm wondering if anyone has been in the last 4-6 weeks, and asked for the vegan meals. I'd like to get an idea of what's in store, especially since Free Dining is in play.
