VCR's in studios?

Hey guys. I dont think I've ever noticed or cared before, but are there vcr's in the studios? Can you record on them? I just realized that the Survivor finale is over our vacation and I dont trust someone not to be talking about it before we get home.

No VCR's or DVD players in any of the on site studios. There was a recent thread lamenting that fact.

It never hurts to ask housekeping, they may have a few extras in case one fails. The problem may be in connecting it, finding electical outlets and coax cables that will reach to where you need to place the VCR.

A related question (because I cannot keep things straight): Which 1BRs have VCRs versus DVD players?

bicker - our 2-bd last year at OKW had a DVC player. Our 1-bd at BWV in October had a DVC-VCR combo player. I didn't know any villas had those! I dunno, it may have just been an abberation replacement of some kind. It didn't matter - we didn't use it.

Actually, asking for Tivo isn't a bad idea. DVC, in their unceasing quest to keep guests happy, might decide it's cheaper to just go ahead and put DVC players in the studios.

Just returned from a trip to VWL where they still have VCPs in the 1BRs. Was really disappointed as was expecting to be able to tape a couple shows while we were out of the room but did not have the capability to record.
