We are leaving on Saturday for our stay at OKW. We do not check in until Monday and our fishing guide for Sunday has cancelled on us. So we thought we would go to Vero Beach, spend the day on the beach and go to Ocean Grill that evening for dinner (our favorite place for dinner).

As an owner of the resort, (we have points at VB and SSR) you would think that we would be able to utilize the amenities of the resort without having a room on SUnday night. Does anyone know if this is possible?

We are staying offsite in Orlando on Saturday and Sunday night, then checking into OKW Grand Villa for a week.

Thanks,
Dan

It would be like pool hopping. You need to be a registered guest through MS to do that. Could you book one night at VB??

DVC members do not get day privileges at their home resorts.

You can certainly spend the day on the public beach and dine at the Ocean Grill without the need to be a resort guest. You likely would not be welcome at the resort pool though as that is only for resort guests.

I think you will be able to park at the resort and ask at the front desk about what other amenities you can use. Resort use is for registered guests only and there are no privileges for owners except when they are also registered guests.

Use of the public beach and dining at the Ocean Grill is not unique only to resort guests. Those options are also available to the general public.

Enjoy! :)
