We want to stay at VB for 2 nights after our dream cruise. Trying to decide if we should get 2 ovir or a Two bedroom. It will be me, dh, my inlaws, our 2 boys 8 and 2. How many of the 2 bedrooms have ocean views, pool views, parking lot views? We would like an ocean view. Are the 2 bedrooms in good shape? Thanks for any advice!!

If you're primary desire is to be able to see the ocean...you'll want to get the OVIR's. No other room cat (except beach cottages) are assured of being able to see the sea...see?

I don't have the breakdown...but all the 2 bedrooms are in the stand alone buildings, some upper story units may have a view of the ocean but you can' be promised that you'll get one of those.

Does anyone know what the possible views are on the 2 bedrooms?

you have already summed it up pretty well....

1)partial ocean view
2)parking lot
3)pool
and, 4) tropical vegation...the south end of building 15 or the north end of build 12 would have this.

Thanks. Does anyone know what the possible views are on the 2 bedrooms?
All of the Inn rooms are in the main building and none of the other type of units are there. The 3 buildings that contain villas are all 2 BR units, mostly lockoff's but there are some dedicated units. The buildings are shaped as a square U with the open part to the street. I believe they are all 4 floors of units. I'm thinking there are two 2 BR units across the side to the ocean and 3 down each leg of the U. I believe that all of the units that are nearest the street (the first and last unit as you go around the U) are all dedicated and all the rest are lockoff's. Thus if one reserves a lockoff you are unlikely to have a view, otherwise it just becomes unit location/assignment related. I'd ask for ocean view 3rd or 4th floor if that's what I wanted.

given the situation and that you're only the 2 days, I'd go for the Inn rooms and request a higher floor. However, the W/D may be important to you at that point so you'll have to make your choice. There is a Laundry room in the Inn though.

As well as laundry rooms in each stand alone building.
Correct but it wouldn't be applicable in this situation unless they wanted to use both the room W/D and the Laundry as the question was between 2 Inn rooms and a 2 BR.

It would be applicable if they wanted to take out classified ads in the local paper and offer free laundry service to make a few bucks to cover MF's or drinks in the GCR.
;)

:lmao:
