VB - question

We have a week reserved 4/12 - 4/19 1BR villa. Thinking that we might need a Disney park fix and may reduce our stay to 6 nights Vero & 2 nights at a resort in Orlando. Since we are flying in and our of Orlando, trying to decide whether to do the parks first or at the end of the trip. Any suggestions?

That is quite a bit of travel for that time frame, in my opinion. Check in at any DVC resort is 4:00p, and not guaranteed to be ready by then. It takes about 2 hrs. to drive from Vero to Orlando Aiport, another 1/2 hr. or so depending on traffic to get to WDW. For 6 days, you are losing 2 in travel time. I would just enjoy VB this time around.

We've done a few 5 night total trips, 3 and 2. We've really enjoyed them all, whether it's been 2 VB, 3 WDW or the other way. Maybe some have a favorite order, but we don't.

We also have done exclusive VB trips. I know I'm no help, sorry.

I have learned that our VB room has rarely been ready before 4, so ever since the first couple of times, we do not make an effort to get to VB early. We like to stop in Sebastian, maybe Squid Lips, or Capt. Hirams for dinner, and then get to VB.
