VB Inn Room ?

Do all the ocean view inn rooms have a balcony?
How is the weather in early August?

Hot and humid with an occassional 100 mph wind gust!

If you like the beach in summer, it'll be exactly what you are looking for.

Not sure if all Ocean Views have a porch, but i am assuming yes.

Just be sure to check out the location that you are given before leaving the front desk. When DW, DS, and DMe went last summer we were given "Ocean View" which actually looked over the pool. The ocean could be seen off to the side, but that it not what we had expected. CMs were accomodating and we had to kill time at the local WalMart until a new room was available, but the Ocean View and spacious porch that we ended up with was worth the wait!

I asked this when we where there in Feb. Yes, all OVIR's have balconies.

I was also curious about the configuration of a couple rooms on the corners, because the balconies are on the sides with windows toward the ocean. I asked if I could look at a room map and apparently it is not to be viewed by guests! Top Secret!

Ocean VIEW Inn Room can be on the south(pool), north or east (ocean) side of the Inn.

bnlbebes..do you remember your new room number--we booked an ocean view room and I want a true view if possible--no pool view for me--I'd almost prefer a garden view over a pool view...I'm a tad bit concerned b/c we won't be checking in until 7 ish in the evening......
