VB for NYE??

Hi - I am looking to book a OVIR at VB for 12/30/10 and 12/31/10 - I don't really understand the points/$$$$ booking system. We don't own DVC and just wanted to book it like any other hotel.

Is this possible and what do we do?? Are we even going to get in to VB at New Years??

If you "just want to book like any other hotel" then you don't need to worry about the points involved. You would just call the main CRO number and book the room for the prevailing cash rate. You would only need to worry about the number of points required if you were planning to rent points from an owner and have them make the reservation for you.

FWIW I don't believe you can get a reservation thru either method for that far out right now. The Disney cash rates are not out for 2010 yet (the next years rates are usually published in August) and DVC members can only book 11 months out at their "home" resorts. So a DVC member who owns at Vero Beach would have to wait for January 30, 2010 to book December 30, 2010 for you.

That link is great, I guess that would be the best/easiest way for us to book once the 2010 prices are released!
