Does anyone know what the cash rate is for the Beach Cottage at Vero Beach. Are there rates on Disney's site anywhere?

Sherry

I can't find this posted any where anymore. It was around $850 in the summer, and I that changed based on the time of the year.

Value Summer Regular Peak Holiday
Vero Beach 1/1-2/4, 8/29 to 12/19 6/3-8/28 4/18-6/2 2/5-3/27 3/28-4/17, 12/20-12/31
Stu/Inn $165 $195 $210 $270 $300
Inn OV $180 $225 $250 $305 $355
1BR $250 $285 $310 $380 $430
2BR $325 $390 $415 $575 $640
Beach $700 $815 $835 $960 $1,105

I stayed in a BC at VB in October a couple of years ago. The first two nights were on points, but the third was a Friday and we decided to use cash instead. To our surprise, the 25% member discount was available. 25% of those rates is quite a bit of money, so it was definitely appreciated by us.

I booked 2 nights for my parents after a week at Boardwalk( they needed the rest after the 3 grandchildren!) I got the AP rate of $139 a night for the studio. They loved it.:earsgirl:

I spoke with our vacation club guide yesterday. She told me that they didn't have beach cottages for cash because the inventory at Vero was SOLD OUT.

They do still offer the BC for cash.

We had one reserved for 10 days in October through MS. They took my CC for a deposit and I would have paid the rest at check-in.

We have since changed to an ocean view inn room because our traveling companions decided not to join us.

I originally made the reservation almost 11 months ahead of time and was surprised they had one available for cash.

They also had it available through the regular 407-WDISNEY number for regular cash paying guests.

Hey JaySue, we finance wonks seem to be duplicating efforts here.:rotfl: I think I have an analogous spreadsheet, comparing cash prices to point prices. Mine is for VB and BWV, tho I really should do one up for OKW, tho point costs there may not make cash ressies even competitive. So did you also do another one with PV calculations and discounted cash flows?:teeth:
