VB Beach Chairs

We are going to Vero Beach in a couple of weeks. This will be our first time there. Can anyone tell me how much it is to rent beach chairs? Is there a beach chair exchange? We need chairs for just a couple of days.

There used to be a chair exchange. I also participated 2 years in a row in a private exchange with another DIS member. But it is no longer supported. I buy chairs at Walmart/CVS and I have always payed them forward to an arriving family. I usually post on the DIS midweek to see if there is a DIS family arriving. If not I just find someone on the beach to pass them on to.

The cost to rent as outlined on page 1 of the Vero Beach Thread:

2 Chairs and Umbrella: 24.00/30.00
Umbrella: 10.00/12.00
Beach Chair: 7.00/9.00
Cushioned Lounge Chair: 9.00/12.00
2 Lounges and Umbrella: 28.00/36.00

We were just there in August. 2 cushioned loungers and umbrella are $24/$36. The other price is for beach chairs.

We reserved them for the 3 days we were there. It was very hot and the umbrellas and a nice cozy chairs made our time at the beach very pleasant.
