Vaseline??

Hi All,

This may seem like a silly/strange question. Can you buy Vaseline at the Screen Door General Store, or anywhere else on property?

We leave in 2 days for a week at the Boardwalk!

I should have clarified. With the cost for checked baggage, we are travelling carry-on only. Addditionally, we are Owners Locker members so I am hoping to buy at Disney and leave in our locker.

I don't know for sure if any of the "convenience" sections of the DVC resorts sell vaseline (but I'd bet money they do!...in the section w/the aspirin etc)...but if they don't, I do know there's a pharmacy near Downtown Disney that delivers...(my daughter had to have a prescription filled while we were at SSR over T-giving...and before we had the prescription delivered, we had some OTC meds delivered)...the fee is pretty reasonable ($5? $7?) for the delivery (and then the cost of the order)...we paid $12 for one delivery and $15 for the other...the pharmacy delivers to the front desk of the resort (at least at SSR)...I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the pharmacy, but we found out about it by inquiring at the front desk...so if you get to BWV and find the ScreenDoor (or Beach Club's Marketplace or the store at the Yacht Club) doesn't have vaseline, having the pharmacy deliver it might be a decent back-up plan!

I've taken Vaseline in a small tube. It fits in our 3/1/1 bag. I usually find it in the lip balm department, but it's vaseline. Have a great trip.

I can't speak for the Screen Door...but Zawadi marketplace at AKV did NOT have any, that I could find, when we were there about a month ago. I don't know, though, if they don't CARRY it, or if they were just out of it.

We picked some up at the Walgreens out on 192...there's just nothing like it for "badly chapped" skin, especially after a cold!.

Could I take the bet that you are a runner and will need it for the marathon or half marathon? The larger resort stores would probably have it available with the diapers and baby powder. I wonder if you might be able to get some at one of the Baby Stations at the parks?

I think OKW's general store has some small travel-sized containers of it, but it isn't "Vaseline" brand.
