Various gift card (not Disney) issues

I've already had two gift card issues this season :(

1. Purchased 3 sets of 3 $10 Roblox physical gift cards online from Sam's. Thankfully they were all for my daughter. Turned out none activated. Sam's sent me to Roblox who sent me back to Sam's. Sam's finally activated them. One card did not activate of a 3 pack. Again, Sam's sent me to Roblox. Crickets right now. Given the discount I got from Sam's, the $10 is about a wash, but still.

2. Purchased a $15 Walmart gift card online. FedEx marked it as delivered, but they did not. Opened a ticket with them and patiently waited until I could start lost procedures with Walmart. I was basically told by Walmart not their problem and to dispute it. I have done so, and again a small $ amount, but I have spent an unbelievable amount of time on it.

Just a warning or reminder about physical gift cards purchased online. You may be in for a headache or a loss.

Eta: ironically the Walmart was for my mailman lol
 
Just an update for anyone who may have read the original post. All is finally resolved.

1. Went round and round with Roblox. They blew me off. I let Sam's know via email. Explained I wasn't asking for anything, but wanted their gift card card team to know. They refunded the $10. Their customer service is great once you get past the first level.

2. FedEx said that their investigation concluded it had delivered on the 16th. However, FedEx put it in my mailbox early this morning. He was in his personal car LOL. I could see him on camera that he was in a FedEx shirt.

Note: if you have FedEx issues, message them via Facebook. They usually respond in minutes and will open a more specific ticket with local center.

Glad both were finally resolved to your satisfaction.

I hate when delivery people mark items delivered before they are. Usually it is delivered the next day when they do that, but a few times I've had it show up over a week later. It's ridiculous.

Or sometimes they mark it delivered, and I go out and it's not there. Then the guy shows up 15 minutes later and says, 'oh, sometimes I mark a bunch as delivered at once before I get there'. :confused3

And don't get me started on the GPS trackers. You call customer service and they say, 'we SAW the GPS tracker at your address at 2pm'. Well where's my package then?!
