If I hear one more thing about Van's Warped Tour I think I might become permanently warped myself. DD and every friend she knows is going and that's all they've been breathing for the last week.

I must be getting old because I'd rather drive a spike through my eyeball than go to this particular concert. :p

A co-worker's daughter went and was so excited because she was right by the stage and the guitar player from "Good Charlotte" threw his guitar pic out to her and winked at her. She said her daughter is keeping the guitar pic in a plastic baggie for safekeeping. :)

Oh boy, if I tell my DD about this, she'll probably faint just knowing if she gets close enough it's a possibility. She's also very in love with one of the guys in Taking Back Sunday - a guy who my husband lovingly refers to as "the dirtbag".:earseek:

My son would have loved to have gone - he really likes "taking back Sunday" too, but he was on a back-packing trip with the Boy Scouts.

Heh. My neighbor on the WDWCP was engaged to one of the guys in TBS; I don't know if they're still together or not, though.

I took my 10-year-old nephew to the show in Orlando and he LOVED it. Which means I'm probably going to be suckered into taking him for the next 5 or 6 years, at least until my sister thinks he's old enough to go by himself/with friends.

I took him in Orlando, where I ran into some friends of mine from high school who are playing on the tour; they invited me back the next day in St. Pete and put me on the list, so I got to see Motion City Soundtrack, NOFX and Bad Religion again, which was great!

Grinningghost, tell your daughter that TBS does a meet-and-greet by the Cingular trailer about an hour after they play. There'll be more about it and specific times listed once she gets to the actual show.
