Vanity license plates

Our Forester has BUGS A on the plates. His name is Bugs (yes, it's a boy!) and A is the first initial of our last name.

Maybe TMI, but our car has been named Bugs since we bought a dark blue VW Rabbit in 1977. We just buy him a new suit every few years.

I once saw a little green Toyota with plates that said "toy yoda", this was complete with a Yoda bobble head toy on the dashboard.

I saw DBL5MPG on a Prius yesterday. Mine says RUNDZNY, but I'm considering changing it. Not sure if I want to go back to a normal plate or try to be creative with a new Disney one. I like the YENSID idea.

I have a VW Passat and mine is DZNYROX. Pretty easy to figure out with my Mickey Mouse stickers all over my car!

Mine is 4ESTALL.
Its my last name, so very easy to figure out if you know me. Every once and a while I'll look in my rearview mirror at a stoplight and see someone trying to figure it out. It gives me a giggle because I know they can't; I always want to get out of the car and let them know

Forristall? I worked with someone who had that last name, that's what I think when I see your plates.

Most people have no clue what it means.... or who it is.

My cousin has a Corvette with the license plate "BOBA VETT"

I like it.

We used to have a Nissan Maxima and the license plate said "MAJDAD". It was my dad's car and he was a Major in the Air Force. And the car was the exact same blue as his uniform.

I have a gray BMW coupe and I want to get a license plate that says "DTHSTR3" because ya know budget cuts in the Empire and all.

DTHSTR3, that's pretty cool.

I follow an SUV to work every morning, and its plate says, "L8 L8 L8." Makes me chuckle every time.

I need that one.....LOL

I drive a mini-van, when DD13 was younger (like 4 or 5) she called the van our vam, I told DBF I wanted to put "RVAMILY" on my plates. I want to get a yellow Camaro and put Bzzzzz on the plates. lol

I chuckled at BAZ1NGA the other day and last night saw a cute convertible that said FRIVLUS.

I also saw an Audi once with plates that said LITG8R so you knew what they did for a living.

I'm too cheap to pay for official vanity plates, but we do have plates supporting the arts (DDs' cars) and veterans (my car). DD#2's front plate says "HER VOLVO" (used to be my car) and my car says "BUZZ." (used to be DH's car).

Our plates are due for renewal in March, and we 're changing them all to regular State of Florida plates. We have five cars, to this will save us a little money.

I now drive a curvy purple convertible with a black top. I SOOO want to get UR5ULA on the plates but husband swears he would never drive it if I did.

I have always had vanity plates.

I have seen some fun ones:
move that belonged on a 300 zx

Nopopo on a former cop car.
I have seen a couple that slipped past the Dmv.
I had kss ths which i did on a bet and dmv back then allowed it, it isn't allowed now lol.

This thread reminded me of a story I read a while back. This man's vanity plates said "NO TAGS," and he ended up with $20,000 worth of parking tickets because "NO TAGS" is the district’s official ticketing code for a car that doesn’t have proper plates attached.

I saw a white Cadillac SUV last week with the P word for a male appendage on there plate. Only difference was a number one where the I should be. I keep wondering why someone would want that for a vanity plate.

I have seen a plate with the Hawaiian word for a female part with the slang word for it, and a guy who has (rhymes with falls) DP,charming lol

Also seen a plate that says ef that,but spelled with phok

We have three cars but only two have vanity plates. One is WDWWEGO and BTMRWDW for the other. My son is just fine with normal plates.
