Van rental 5/28-6/6

I have a minivan reserved for 5/28-6/6 for $384 with Alamo. I reserved a while back and thought the prices are sure to go down. I have tried all the codes, Entertainment coupons, etc and I can't get it lower. In fact, they just keep going up. Can anyone help me out? All the deals seem to be expiring on 5/26. Is it expensive because of Memorial Day?

RUN don't walk over to dollar rent a car. I just put in your dates with the code kiss3 (from mousesavers) and it came out to $229. for that time. Good Luck!

Hi, I used your dates and the codes. It worked. My sister-in law said the same thing when I told her for another time. She tried a few times until it worked. If I can get it you can too. Keep trying is what I suggest.

Anabelle, I just tried with dollar and I was able to get it again. Are you using the promo code? Under promo code type in kiss3. I typed in your dates from 5/31-6/6. You are flying into mco right? You should be able to do it. Let me know how you do. Good luck!!!

Sorry guys , I gave you the wrong days. It's 5/28 - 6/6 . It does work for 5/30 on but not before.

I wouldn't worry. This rate is usually good most times. You should just keep on checking I bet it will reopen as your dates come closer. I had this same rate last year when I went - $30 cheaper last year - but same thing. Keep checking mousesavers. You also want a rent a car like this one at the airport. It is so much more convenient. Hi All,

Just a little piece of info I found with this code. It seems as though when you change times around for that code the price will increase when returning the van later in the day. I found the $229 rate will increase after 12:00 noon return.

Hi, my rate didn't change. I have pick up and drop off at 3:00. Did you maybe go over a week by an hour or two? They charge you a set rate (I believe it is somewhere around $13.) for every hour that you go over your week. Maybe that is why yours went higher if you pick it up at 12:00 you have to return it at 12:00 or at 4:00 return at 4:00. Hope this helps.

You probably are having bad luck because you are trying to rent on the beginning of Memorial Day weekend just like everyone else. If you can get the dollar rate listed above, go for it. I just checked on National's site and their lowest was $303 for your dates.
