Van Helsing 101. Class in session...

Since some of our wonderful DISers have had questions on who Van Helsing (VH) is and why he single handedly has become the talk of the CB, allow me to post a little primer.

Van Helsing aka VH aka Vampire Hunter aka JJ is a wonderful person who happened to come to the CB because he is a displaced person (refugee) from the Debate Board. He is well known among the DBers for his unique perspective.

There is this thread going about VH and two others started by VH with several pages on each. Admittedly, I am a contributor to one other, but I don't understand why we need a VH 101 class. Oh, I guess I am the one who asked the question -- I just wondered why the thread started by VH yesterday was over 100 posts about something so silly as tags and tag faeries. I guess I'm out of the loop on the CB these days -- I rarely read any thread regarding tags or cliques or clubs and wasn't up on who's who and who wants a tag and who doesn't.

I think in VH's case the "complaints" about tags are a big act (or cry) for attention, especially after starting a thread about "who or what is the TF" on the CB. Then getting tagged and starting another thread to complain about the alleged "invasion of privacy."

Methinks VH doth complain too much. (That is, this is all a big game and he is enjoying the attention way too much.) Dan Murphy already advised him on how to stop the "game" but I don't think VH will take the advice.

VH was jjcollins until jj got banned, and then he came back as VH.

Kind of an "interesting" character, but certainly not worth pages of posts!!! But then again, no one is, IMHO!!!!!

Thank you Disney Doll! I was sitting here wracking my brain as to who "jj" is. I remember jjcollins (and the controversy that user enjoyed), I did not know that Van Helsing and he (she?) were one and the same. It makes sense to me now.
