I just saw Loverboy last week at EPCOT and also David Lee played the RibFest here in St. Pete on Friday, he did alot of the Van Halen stuff........I remember seeing him with VanHalen many years ago, I was so close to the stage he sweated on me! So I guess you and I are the same age!!!!

Aaah! David Lee Roth sweat. Hmmm, I think I'd prefer Mike Reno sweat...or at least Mike Reno 20 years ago (I can't believe I'm saying "20 years ago")

OMG - Van Halen is my fav group.....my I like Sammy better (did not vote), I went to the Sammy/David tour in 2002 and Sammy did a MUCH better performance. (at the Ice Palace!!!) David was still trying to do the jumps and sexual antics from back in the day. It just didn't suit him!

I like them both. I grew up with Roth, but Hagar started with the group when I was still relatively young and impressionable.

You beat me to it! Gary has a new CD out. It's available through Amazon, do a search for "Cherone", the CD is titled "need i say more". It's got a funky jazzy sound, very smooth and suits his voice wonderfully! If you were a fan of "When I First Kissed You" or "More Than Words" on the Pornografitti CD, you'll love this new CD. He's managed by Robby Hoffman, who's late brother Steve managed Van Halen up at RSO (there, made this post a little "on topic").

If anyone is interested, there is a big "To Do" November, 25 2005 at the Hudson, MA, Portuguese Club with a plethora of Bettencourts scheduled to perform, and it wouldn't be unplausible to think that some Cherone's will drop by as well.
