I just received a Disneyland Backstage Pass magazine in the mail today. It mentions that Disney Vault 28 will open this October in Downtown Disney. They didn't give a date though Also, I read that it won't offer discounts to all of us AP holders. That's a real bummer! I hope they have cool stuff though!

I don't think you get discounts at all of the places in DTD - interesting that you wouldn't get a discount at a disney owned store though

I read this when I downloaded the Fall issue of the Backstage Pass magazine the other day and I was majorly disappointed when I read that AP's won't get a discount. Fair enough on the stores that have nothing to do with Disney but are in DTD but it's a glorified Disney store!!! Totally sucks. I can see me blowing a fair bit of cash in this store.

Yup, it's a PDF document (and physical for AP holders living in the US?) you can download from Disneyland.com when you're logged in with your AP number. It basically gives you the lowdown on what's going on at the Resort for the next few months and what offers are going on and special events and heads up on pins and other LE merchendise.

Yes, the Backstage Pass is a newsletter for AP holders. It has information on upcoming events/attractions, etc. and has information on AP exclusive items and offers.

I completely agree with you. I find it odd that they won't offer AP discounts. I was thinking it would be great since Disney Couture, Disney Divine, etc. is sooo expensive! I know they're going to sell jeans and other clothing but I know it's going to cost quite a pretty penny.

I really like the Disney Couture jewelry but some of the prices are a bit extreme. Last week I found the same jewelry in a local mall for half of what it costs in World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Okay, so at the risk of sounding silly, what's for sale in Vault 28-- hard to find (or "vaulted") Disney movies, or...? <-- Wishful thinking!

I just read that they would sell vintage style clothing for men and women along with accessories. I'm not sure what else they will carry.
