Values sold out Memorial Day weekend

I'm toying with the idea of going down on Memorial Day weekend (annual passes are burning a hole in my pocket!)
I know Pandora is opening, so we were just going to try and avoid AK and hope it wouldn't be too crazy elsewhere.
But it looks like ALL of the values are completely sold out. Is that correct? Am I missing something? Does this suggest it will be even crazier than the heart of the summer (when there are still plenty of rooms left)?

I would guess between Pandora opening and the long weekend, i would be surprised if the values weren't sold out.

I just looked at Thursday to Tuesday and Pop Century has Rooms for $157+tax. Friday to Tuesday is $164+tax. Thursday to Monday Nothing. Friday to Monday Nothing. So if you can add a day or two, you might get something. (Which is weird if they have Thursday to Tuesday, you can't get in between days.)

I hate how their system does this! I have had to book a longer vacation to secure the dates then call to remove the extra days.

You can call and a lot of times they can override the system. Might be worth a try.

I've read Disney has stopped this practice of booking and then removing or adding a day. To remove/add a day your entire trip must be available as if you are booking for the first time.

To do it yourself online or have a front line phone CM do it, yes this is true. But Guest Services can override it and drop a day if the new amount of days are not available. But it also depends on who you get.

I think the Little Mermaid rooms at AoA have been booked up that weekend for awhile now. We started looking in January at booking our upcoming trip, and we wanted AoA, but the standard rooms were unavailable for the last night we'd be there (Friday, 5/26). Ultimately, we decided we'd rather stay the extra day than stay at AoA, so we booked at Pop.
