Does anyone know what is going on that no values are available the first 2 weekends in May? Planning on going the weekend of the 12th but looking like it will now be a day trip instead.

Do you think this will affect the crowd levels at the parks? I was there for the pop warner in December, and I don't think it affected it too much, because they were busy with their competitions.

I would love to know that answer too. I am going for 10 days at the beginning of May and staying at POP. Always come last week of February but had to move it this year for work. Should I be scared? We spend little time at the resort.

If it is like pop warner, they are over at the all star resorts, so shouldn't affect pop resort and hopefully not the parks.

Cheerleading and Dance Worlds,The Summit and D2 Summit are all staying at the All-Stars and Coronado Springs Resort.:)

I was wondering the same thing. I really want to get down to see Wishes one last time but I can't find a room. :(

It won't really affect much in the parks, the cheer comp is an all day/ night affair for usually 3 days, and practices too. It would GREATLY impact you staying at the same resort however.

You'll see a few. We stayed at POP when my daughter was in it- but not NEARLY as many there as the rest of the values.

Trust me, you don't want to find a room.
My daughter was an all star cheerleader and I loved it- and I still had a hard time with all those teenage girls around the resort. They're supposed to have curfews, but I swear they never slept.

The designated Resorts for Cheerleading and Dance Worlds,The Summit and D2 Summit are the All-Stars and Coronado Springs-will some of the Cheerleaders/Dancers still stay at POP?Thanks!:)

There will be some scattered in all resorts. We weren't obligated to stay in any specific resort, its just more convenient in terms of meetings and practices of you're at the same resort as everyone else. But we chose POP instead , and I did see a few teams there as well. The designated resorts get fuller and fuller, as more cheer teams make finals. Some gym teams "hold" on to blocks of rooms in the hopes their teams will make Worlds or Summit...and that takes up a lot of rooms making the spill-over to other resorts. Plus cheer is so expensive as it is, a moderate resort is usually the last choice for a resort cost -wise. I would not cancel a room at POP, they are really pretty busy all day long. You'll see them in the food court in the morning and the bus stops, all dressed and ready to go but that's the most of it for the Summit comp.. Worlds actually has their own buses to/from the All Stars.
