Value vs. peak season

What months are considered value season? I've noticed quite a difference lately. We usually go the last week of May. This year, we toyed with the idea of going for my birthday which is April 2 and the rates are quite different. So I'm curious, when does value season begin?

The value season for 2003 are 1/1-2/12, 8/24-10/1, and 11/2-12/19. The REGULAR season for 2003 after April is 4/27-8/3 and 10/2-11/1. Hope this helps!!!
