I'm just a little confused. Value season is supposed to be less crowded, right? Why then is after July 4 considered Value Season for the Deluxe Resorts? Are they really less crowded? I always thought June, July and early August wer VERY crowded. We are planning a trip next July and was surprised that it was listed as Value Season. Thanks for your input.

From what I have read Christmas and Easter are the most crowed times of year for Disney. I believe that the weather has a lot to do with July being Value season. We went in June one year and did not wait in long lines at all! Don't forget to check the codes when they come out next year you can save extra $ on your stay.

Happy Planning!:p

You are correct, the Value season for Deluxe and Home Away begns after July 4th. However, as far as using Value seasons at resorts to judge crowds, use the Value seasons of the Moderates and All-Stars. Thier value seasons more closely coincide with the low crowd seasons.

My wife and I were talking about this the other day. My theory is that a higher percentage of deluxe Resorts guest don't have kids in school so they tend to avoid the hot and, crowded part of July and all of August. Just a guess, but seems logical.
