We're staying at POFQ soon, what are the odds that since this is a smaller resort and a non-peak travel time for WDW that my room could be ready when I arrive via ME around 11:30am? I plan on checking my carry-on luggage with bell services if room not ready so we can hit the parks, but I'm just curious if other's at this resort have had luck with earlier check-in. Thanks!

I have done early check in on 4 trips, and my room has always been ready. At the Poly, I checked in at 9am and not only was my room ready, I was upgraded from GV to LV. Not sure if getting there early had anything to do with it, but we were thrilled!

We stayed at WL last month (when it's value season for deluxes) and our room was ready when we checked in at 10:30 am :goodvibes

I was able to check into POFQ when we arrived around 11:00 am, last October. I think your chances are pretty good. We did do online check in.

Good luck & have fun

It varies. The only way I can see your room being ready that early is if it was vacant the night before.
POFQ is a small resort (only 1000 rooms) that often books up quickly. The likelihood of a room being left available for a night is slim.
You can always go online and check availability for the night before. If there's still something available up until a few days before your trip, then the likelihood of that room being available for you goes up.
If there's nothing available for booking, then I doubt a room will be ready for you when you check in. I don't think the Mousekeepers even show up for their shifts until close to 11, and even if they get there earlier, the rooms must be vacant for them to clean them.

An upgrade would require that same room to be available for your entire stay.

The last two times that we stayed at POFQ (both times were in September), our room was not ready until 2:30pm. It's the only resort I've stayed at that wasn't ready when we got there. Even when we've rented DVC. And we always do online check in. This is not a complaint by any means. We absolutely love that resort. Just our luck with check in there I'm guessing. :goodvibes
