Value Resorts

It's probably going to depend on personal likes/dislikes, so you'll get a variety of answers on this one. FWIW, Pop Century is the newest value resort and seems to get consistently good reviews.

Is All Stars the only value resort that will sleep 5?

Is All Stars the only value resort that will sleep 5?

I believe ALL Star Music is the only one with family suites that can sleep more than the standard four.

The values are all themed different so it depends on what icons you'd like to look at during your stay. We have stayed at ASMu & Pop and loved them both! We are doing a 1 night stay at ASMo in November and can't wait to check it out. I'm sure we'll love it as much as the other 2.

Thanks! I am thinking booking two value rooms might be cheaper than the family suite.

option if you want to sleep five is Port Orleans Riverside. Some of the Alligator Bayou rooms have trundle beds that work well for kids around 9 and under. The room is slightly larger than a value, comes with a fridge and will be cheaper than two value resort rooms

Personally, I think ASmovies is the best. The theming is great and feels really Disney.

Have a great trip! pixiedust:

My family and I love POP Century. You just can't beat those over-sized characters and fun shaped pools. I mean where else are going to join others for a big wheel race or do the Twist in the food court. It's FUN! :cool1:

They all sound great! I have never stayed at any of them. This is a low budget trip and my youngest is 10 and we are going in April after Easter. I may be a little late in the game to even get into a value. Thanks and please post all you can about the resorts you stayed in!:hippie:

:) Love Pop. We have stayed at ASMo several times and Pop twice. This year will be our third at Pop. Many times the All star buses will pick up and drop off at the other All Stars befor getting to Movies as it is the last one in the row. Pop has its own dedicated bus. Just a thought and wanted to point that out. Either way it works out fine. :wizard:

With that code for the fall/certain holidays it is cheaper to do that. My BIL just rebooked his vacay in OCT from the family suite to two rooms, and he saved about $1000. But that was with the code...I am not sure, but ifyou are paying rack rate for the room, the two rooms is the same price as the family suite...not sure, but I am sure someone can verify that!

You might want to compare prices on the Family Suites and booking 2 adjoining rooms ... we've gone with the adjoining rooms on our last 3 trips. The last time I looked the suites cost a bit more than the 2 rooms ... I figured we really didn't need a sitting area that would turn into a sleep area ... we're pretty much at the parks all day. Port Orleans was also very nice when it was only the 5 of us. I would call and talk to them.
Oh, and we just got back from ASMovies ... I prefer Pop.
