Ive seen people mention that getting 2 value rooms can be cheaper than staying in a moderate. We are a family of 5 and the oldest is 16, and having two rooms is very appealing to us. But I can’t seem to find a way to price a vacation like that. I’m guessing because the oldest child isn’t 18? Is this something we’d have to call for the reservation and say that each of us adults are staying in separate rooms? Is it possible to get adjoining rooms? We had planned on POR with the Murphy bed, but the garden view isn’t available during the time we are looking and it’s quite a jump in price to the next “view”. Honestly, we don’t really care that much about where we stay, as long as it’s on property.

Easiest way, yes.

Is it possible to get adjoining rooms?

You probably actually want connecting rooms. (Adjoining can mean across the hall; connecting means an interior door between units.) Disney will not guarantee this, but they usually make it happen.
