Which value resort gets the least amount of school/sports groups during spring break?

I'm pretty sure they don't stay at AoA as much. All Stars gets a lot of them. Not sure about POP.

Pop and Aoa - they had a policy not to allow school groups - don't know if that is still enforce. even with that some parents will pay full price to stay at Pop or Aoa because the kids can walk to WWoS

My DD stayed at POP in April with her senior class. 322 seniors went plus school chaperones

were they there for some thing special - parade, concert - or did Disney have nothing to do with their party.

I was at Pop in April and there were hoards from a national cheering competition. Well behaved and minimal impact. I've been to WDW April?may for 10 years--each time at a value resort and every resort has had school groups of one kind or another.

AoA would be an exception as they have so few "regular" rooms. But they also seldom offer discounts.....

Anecdotal, but Feb 2014 I saw a big tour group of teen girls at the POP bus stop at AK.

I have no idea, but I would guess AOA is the least likely to have groups stay, just because it's the newest and seems not to have trouble filling rooms even w/o discounts.

Oh, FWIW, I was at POFQ in April this year. 3rd stay there, and for the first time I saw a school group there (hs band). Not really a problem to me, but if even POFQ gets groups, I figure no guarantees when it comes to values or mods.

There was some big youth group that checked into Pop just after Christmas last year. They did not impact our stay one bit. Infact, they were quite polite and friendly. We encountered a few groups around the pool and a few groups in line to get food. :)

No. Just a senior class trip to WDW. They stayed 4 nights. Included in the trip fee was hired security. To make sure kids weren't wondering in the middle of the night to other rooms and to keep them quiet after room check.

When POP was new they did not allow. My DS team was participating at WWoS and wanted to stay there because their coaches keep control and didn't want them around other teams. Disney said no. The parent in charge continued to "negotiate" and they finally agreed if they paid rack rate. Done. NOW POP is full of groups and sadly during BTG season (not spring break) will be home to a thousand at a time.

AoA is your best bet but you will pay top price and no discount. AllStars are guaranteed but never heard of issues at Movies.

POP usually places all groups in the 90's and 80's where their buses can easily pull up, they have their own pool and they don't have to go through other resort areas to get to food court or buses. Request rooms in other areas.

Every time we went to values we had a school group there. Some were ok, some plain obnoxious. It is what drove us out of the values. Although, when checking out of POR 2 years ago, a cheerleading group was checking in. Good timing. But I guess deluxe is the only safe bet, but I'm not paying those prices.

If I'm not planning for a discount, should I book aoa now for spring break? I'm trying to get one of the cheaper rooms.

The least likely would be AOA. All of the others are fodder for large groups on a budget.

I am worried about the international tour groups for our upcoming stay at the POP. I have heard they are quite rude and I don't want to go to jail for laying out some 16 year old from Brazil.

We stayed at Sports in Feb 2013 and ran into large groups of young Brazilian girls a couple times. They were very polite and well mannered. In line for TT they were interacting with the American kids and having a fun time. I wouldn't worry about them. We had a great time on our trip and weren't affected by the groups at all.

This is crazy! I decided to go ahead and book. They are sold out of mermaid rooms.
