Value Resort question

We've never stayed at a value, but am considering it for our next trip due to needing 2 rooms. My concerns are sleeping in a full for couples used to queen sized beds and the transportation. Is there a big difference in transportation from the moderates?

I can't speak to the couples part as I've on stayed in the values as a single but the buses are the buses are the buses. The value resorts do not have covered bus stops but they do have actual roped ques. Otherwise, it's not different than the buses at the moderates or the deluxes.

We always rent a car. As far as the beds, my wife and I have a queen bed and have no problem adjusting to the full. But we usually sleep twisted like pretzels and only use 2/3 of the bed anyway.

We sleep in a king at home, but sleep comfortably in a double at Pop. As for the buses.....they're much better at a value than a moderate IMO.

I have found the bus service at Pop was better than at the deluxe resorts. Perhaps they just have more? Our last stay at Animal Kingdom Kidani was the worst by far. We've never waited long at Pop.

My husband has never been to Pop, but in the spring my son, daughter, and I shared a room there, so she and I took the one bed for the two nights we were there. It was okay for sure - we were tired! And I have a king bed at home with my husband!

I have to agree with you. Not that I've ever stayed there though. Our last trip at the Poly, bus service was just not that good. Other resorts had bus lines up to 30 people long. All except Pop Century. I'm not kidding that every other bus that came and left was for Pop. We waited 30 minutes for Poly bus at HS. 4 Pop busses had come and gone. The last bus out had no more than 4 people total on it!

We have stayed at the ASMu twice and POR twice. My experience with the buses was better at ASMu. We also had no trouble sleeping in the beds despite sleeping in a larger bed at home.

Thanks for the replies! I'm considering ASMovies or AofA. I like that AofA is newer (pics of ASMo make it look a bit worn), but don't think the family will appreciate the long walk to the LM rooms. Thinking about a suite, but 2 rooms would be cheaper. We won't be spending much time at the resort (short 4 night trip), so I feel like I should save all the money I can in that area.
