Value Resort: Possible weird question?

Might have been asked, maybe not.

Looking at booking a value resort, just one question though, I love the idea of walking through the grounds and taking in the sights (not sure exactly what value resort I'd pick) and just getting caught up in the whole Disney magic.

However my question (bizarre or not) is do they have music playing throughuot the grounds and stuff of the resort throughout the day and night? Or is there no music?

I do know that Pop Century does. They play alot of the hits from the era's. I'm not sure on the other value resorts! I almost think they do.

Do they play music through the night too or go off at a certain time do you know?

Anyone else confirm if the other VR do?

I only noticed music played @ POP when I was closer to main building and main pool. I never heard anything when just walking around the grounds

Honestly we don't get a preferd room we usually stay in a room facing the lake. The only noise I have noticed is the sprinklers. I think the music plays near the pool areas and more near the main walkways..

I only noticed it near the main building and pool at POP, CBR and POFQ. Put some disney tunes on an ipod for your stroll

Thanks again, I can live with that I'm sure, be good walking about the main areas even with the music.

Wondering if teh movie section has the famous songs from the films playing out.

I agree .....it's only near the buildings.

ASMu plays loud music at the pool from about noon on....it's really fun.

It's not just near the main bldg and pool at Pop. You can hear music from the different decades near all the buildings. I'm not sure if you can hear it as much on Memory Lane or Generation Gap Bridge. I'll try to be aware of that when I'm there in August.

My DW nearly slugged me for disco dancing to "Copacabana" at ASMu early one morning to get on the park bus.

You are right all the main walkways all around the resort. You just can't hear it on the backside of the resort. I should have stated my answer more clearer.

If I recall correctly, the music goes off around 10 PM and starts again around 8 AM. (One of the reasons we won't stay Preferred at POP anymore - we're late sleepers!)

All Star Music has music around each building to suit the theme--rock, country, Broadway, etc.
