What are the Pro's/Con's of each? :confused3

I'm assuming I could find an even cheaper deal at a good neighbor hotel, but then I don't get all the disney transportation right? I can I still use all that? Once I found a ride to the park that is right? Are their any that I could walk from thats not too far? (will have a 2.5yr old with us, and my old lady mom, lol)

Any good neighbor hotels with continental breakfast?

Where do you recommend? Why?
(and if you recommend a dis value resort, which one?)

Thanks so much!

I noticed that you are from BC so are you asking about WDW or DL ?

Pro's of staying on site at a Value

(1)You get to use Magic Express To and from MCO ( No need to rent a car or pay for a Limo )

(2)Great Disney transportation to and from parks ( Offsite hotels offer shuttles but most don't offer frequent trips)

(3)All of the Values have great Disney theming

(4) Extra Magic Hrs ( every day one park opens one hr early ore stays open 3 hrs late for only Disney resort guests )

(5) Disney dining plan ( Allows you to pay for your meals before you leave and save a little money )

Cons

( 1)Slightly more expensive than off site hotels (but Disney is offering some great deals right now )

(2) Cost of eating

We Love POP Century It is the Newest Value and does not share resort transportation with other resorts

Not really

thanks for your good information :)

I think we will probably go with POP since most people talk about that one :)

I would also go with one of the WDW Value Resorts because they are not much more expensive then an offsite hotel, plus you can get some good travel packages and all the perks of staying onsite.

Crystal, I believe you made a great choice. My kids are now 9 and 15 and we will be staying at a WDW value, POP, for the first time next week.

We have stayed in all the mods at least once in the past because I liked the themes and we always got great prices. However, we missed all the fun themes of the values. I wish we started with the values. We are going to experience all the values in the next couple of trips....then the deluxes after that!

I loved Pop century when we were there in Sept! It was great, the bus system was terrific, a few mornings there were lots of people to go on the bus and one would fill and within minutes another one was there to board more passengers.
We are also hoping to return to Pop this fall, sometime from Sept-Nov, we were able to see the fall decorations last year, and I would love to be able to be able to see the Christmas decorations this year, but depending on deals when we will go!
Enjoy...
