What makes the one bedroom a VALUE room?

It is located in Jambo House only and is smaller(room size) than standard or savannah view.

It's a great way to get a 1 bedroom without costing a lot of points! I've had one a few times! IMO, it's great for 3 adults. Like all 1 bedrooms in Jambo, there's only 1 bathroom and there's not a separate shower. Unlike the standard or savannah view one bedrooms in Jambo, there is NOT a sleeper chair. So, the 1 value 1 bedrooms only sleep 4 max, with one child under 3 in a pack and play.

Our first DVC stay was in a value 1BR. We LOVED it. It was smaller than the regular 1BRs, but we had plenty of room to put up a full size crib in between the couch and the sliding doors in the living area. We also had two mcclaren strollers that trip and never had issues having enough room. The door to the master br doesn't easily open and close, but other than that we had no issues and loved saving so many points!

What makes the one bedroom a VALUE room?

The Values were converted from Standard AKL Hotel Rooms. All other Jambo House Villas were converted from Deluxe AKL Hotel Rooms. The Values are approx. 3 feet shorter than the other JH Villas. The Values are along the Ostrich & Giraffe Trails as seen in the map linked to below. The Values can have either a Parking Lot, Pool or Savanna View. DVC will not note a view request on the reservation.

Just be aware that though 1BRs are usually the last to go, value rooms at AKV can be difficult to get many times of the year at 7 months out.

Yeah..especially since there are not many, only 10 2 bedroom lock off value villas. I could be wrong about the number, someone here will know for sure.

Correct.

That is correct. Only two of the Value 2BRs face the parking lot. The rest face either the Sunset Savanna or the pool area. The other parking-lot view rooms (shown in white on the map) are AKL hotel rooms that were not converted to AKVillas.
