Anyone know about this? They have fall dates listed. Is this a good deal?

I saw it on a Disney Commerical last night while watching Off the Map on ABC. I googled New Disney Commerical and clicked on one of the results and it was a blog, on the side where ads are it was listed I clicked on it and got the info.

Did you compare the price with the regular package price online? Because I just ran the numbers for 2 adults and 2 kids at a Value resort during the period you specified with 7 day base tickets and regular dining plan and guess how much it came out too??? $2593. Divide that by 7 days and then by 4 people and it comes out to $92/person/day. So that just seems like regular price to me

I did 6 nights 7 day base ticket with qsdp and it came out to $90 a night per person... doesn't seem like a deal at all.
I've also noticed a lot of people talking about pin codes that really aren't deals. I'm wondering if Disney is trying to get people off the discount by claiming that their prices are discounted? Savy business move if people fall for it. Call it a promotion and charge regular price.

I looked into this as well. It seems that they are just quoting an average for value resorts using their off peak rack rate, along with a base ticket, and quick service. I did not run the math precisely but just eyeballed it. It is their way of trying to look like it is cheap without actually giving a discount. Sort of like the way cars are advertised. They advertise the base price but in small print it says actual price of car shown on the ad.

Either way I always say if you can get the discount look at it as a bonus, cause you are gonna go anyway!

However as for dining, I think that is a great discount if you like to eat alot and have a bigger family traveling. Some people say the room discount is better if you don't eat alot.
