I would like to bring my own tea bags from home. Not being cheap, but I just have a kind that I really like and drink every morning.

Will I be able to get free hot water at the food court? How about a cup with lid? Sugar? Cream? Will I need to stand in line to get any of these or are they available at the beverage station? I'll be happy to bring my own cup if needed, but I'm hoping they will at least give me free water.

Thanks!

There is hot water in the same machine as the Hot cocoa. Sugar, cream and lids too. All are at the beverage station.

Thanks! What about cups? Will I need to go through a line to get one or are they out with the lids?

You will have to buy a cup, they won't give you one free. They do give free cups for water, but they are wax lined for cold beverage, so will melt the wax into your hot tea.
May I recommend you buy a mug. For onlly $14 you will have unlimited refills of the beverages at your resort's food court beverage station. This does not include milk or juice, but soda, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are included. And it is a fun souvenir from your trip. Many people enjoy their mugs from their trips---happy memories come flooding back. (And before you know it, you start saving for another trip back.:rotfl:)

I'll second the motion on getting a refillable mug. Plus they're pretty this year. :cloud9:

I agree that purchasing the refillable mug is the best option, this way you won't need to worry about getting a paper cup when making your Tea.

We took our own tea bags and bought re-fillable mugs. Not cost-effective because we never filled the mugs with anything but hot water, which is free, and a bit of sugar. Also tea just doesn't taste the same when it's in a plastic mug. The mug can be a good souvenir, but mine has been in the cupboard since that vacation.

This time we will take our own tea bags, travel mugs and sugar.
We will use a snack credit for a bottle of milk which is used in tea as well as on the kids cereal (we take the variety pack cereals) We did that last time as well, and unused milk was saved for the next day so we didn't have to use a snack credit every day for the milk.

If you bring your own mug from home (or buy one to take with you), they will let you use it if you're only getting hot water. I wouldn't buy the "refillable mug" for $14 if you're only going to drink the hot water.

My DH and I did something similar on our last trip. We brought Starbucks Via packets, flavored creamer packets, and disposable cups with lids (for hot beverages). It actually worked out very well. We only needed hot water from the food court. I didn't love the idea of the disposable cup (not wanting to create that much waste), but for the 5 days we were there I felt like it was our best option.

I will say that we had the cups with us when we bought food one morning and the CM ringing up the food purchase wanted to know where we got the cups. It took a little convincing for him to not charge us for them. I'm not sure he really believed we brought them from home. But then a different CM saw what we were doing one day and told us what an excellent idea she thought it was! :cool1:

Thanks everyone! I'll bring some disposable cups with lids to use and bring my own tea bags. Sounds like I should be able to get free hot water and maybe a little sugar and creamer packets at the food court.
