Thanks for the suggestion to go BTW! My mom and I had a Great time even though we only saw each other 1 time between the 4 classes we each took.

I never even got to shop the whole floor. I had no clue it shut down at 5. :(

I did manage to spend way more than I thought I budgeted. I never even heard of most of the companies. I am a CM SBer so it is beaten into my head to use only those products and I just started with Cricut 1 year ago.:goodvibes

I LOVED Boxer Palozza and the co-owner, OMG all the free stuff and then I bought a ton at her stand. We were laughing the whole hour. The BEST class info wise to my tastes was the Gifts Galore. LOVED the candy bar ghosts and bats and all the ideas were so cute!!!

I hated the post-it papers class. The teacher was too fast and didn't use a mic so hearing was so hard. None of the punches worked correctly (stand on the floor to punch and they looked all ragged when it finally half worked)

Mom all took a class down there (Delaware room) in the same room and said the same about the punches and the teacher being so short and hard to hear.

So what did you like/hate. Mom and I want to know what classes/companies to look for.

I left plenty enough time to explore the vendor fair this year. It seemed there were fewer vendors this year to me however that also allowed it not to be elbow to elbow crowded as it has been in past years. This year I spent money on Mosaic grid paper, Clear and Simple stamps, clearance stamps at Technique Tuesday and a few other odds and ends.

I took three of Tami Potter's Mosiac classes. This was a new technique for me. I took Get into the Grid with Mosaic Moments, Stamp this Way with Mosaic Moments and Falling for Mosaic Moments - Advanced Techniques. The Get into the Grid class included the Self healing mat, chisel and the book. Tami gave a lot of tips and hints on how she creates mosaic pages. In the Stamp This Way class we received an acrylic stamp set and 3 small stamp pads. Stamping isn't new to me but I found it interesting in how she selects stamps. It was a good reminder that one can make your own background and get the colors you want. The Falling for Mosaic Moments class was really interesting in she showed how she doesn't use panoramic pictures but uses 4x6's. I enjoyed all three classes.

I also took two of Lickety Split Scrapbook's Disney Magic and Travel aBS 8x8 Board Book. If finishing the project in class is important to you Lickety Split's classes are not for you. I don't usually learn new techniques in their classes. Their kits are good and it works if you go into a class knowing to work at your own pace and to finish it up later. They give you all the supplies pre-cut for the pages. I usually take at least one of their classes. And it's usually Disney related.

I didn't take any Technique Tuesday classes this year mostly because their class projects and the stamps used didn't appeal to me. But I have taken their classes in the past and thought you got your money's worth from them. I had learned new facts that I hadn't learned previously about their stamps.

Not sure how adding the 3rd day to the event went. I took 3 classes on Thursday, 1 on Friday and 1 on Saturday. The class size on Thursday was smaller which was kind of nice. Because I took 3 from Mosaic Moments and 2 from Lickety Split I got lucky and the classes were in only 2 of the general session rooms. So I didn't have to run from one end to the other. :)
