Valet Service at the Yacht Club (?)

Just wondering if anyone knows... has valet service been restored at the Yacht Club? I've been hearing several different conflicting reports and thought it best to ask people on the Disboards (because they always know what's happening)

We haven't stayed at YC since reopen, but have stayed at BCV several times since reopening. Although we never use valet, even as of yesterday I haven't seen a valet attendant out where they normally are. Obviously I could have missed them though. Drop the 94 year old off at the front door, even escort them directly I side to a seat, then park your vehicle in the parking lot. Have a good trip.

According to the press release, valet parking should have resumed at the YC last week. Your mileage may vary.

Ok, I have a friend that checked in this morning so just texted. Her exact response: "I really can't tell, either they have it and no one is using it or they don't have it yet. I can't tell if these people running around are bell services or valet, but I've been out here waiting for my chick fil a to arrive for an hour and have seen a lot of cars come in and zero people use any valet". I had heard it was returning, but yeah, it might not be used frequently yet. I say show up, drop off the 94 year old, and have someone go park the car. We have stayed at YC three times since reopening, BCV another time, none of those times valet was going yet and we have kids and lots of bags. Always drop stuff off and have one person go park, my husband usually goes and grabs the car (and it's usually faster than valet anyway).

We were just there last week. As far as I could tell there is no valet service at any of the hotels. Disney sees it as a health threat during the pandemic. Many of these special things have not restarted. We always used valet parking. My husband has mobility issues and it was a blessing. Your best option is to drop her off & let her rest while you’re parking the car. Transportation is not convenient or very efficient now.

For what it's worth, YC is not one of those resorts where parking is 10 miles from the building, it's so much easier just to run out and get the car yourself and bring it around.
